The Joy of the Swedish Postal Service
A while back I ordered a bunch of busts from among others, Romain Van den Bogaert. Quite a lot of time has passed since then and I started to get worried that the postal service had lost it or something (I’ve never heard anything bad about Romain so I never thought that he had missed it or something like that). Then yesterday I got a reminder from the postal office that I had a package to pick up, which was weird as I never got the first note from them and the one I did get was sent to the wrong address in the wrong town.
So with a day or so before they would have send it back to France, I fetched it at the post office and.. well.. as you can see from the photo, it looks like someone actually had jumped on it. It was broken on all sides and I quickly snapped some photos of everything so I could send in a complaint about it.
At that time, I was pretty nervous (and quite pissed off) that the busts would have been reduced to dust. Thankfully Romain knows how to package his goods. But there were damage on two out of the three which was photographed and documented.
So I send in a long complaint to the postal service and now I’m waiting for them to actually reply to it and all I want to do is to start working on them.
